Meet the Groomer

Rachel Evans
Co-founder and Groomer. Rachel's journey to grooming started with simple love for dogs from a young age, and as she got older, the desire to help them. She started with rescuing, then fostering for area rescues. She decided to take a risky leap and applied to be a kennel tech at a Tyler vet, with hopes of going to school to become a vet tech. After a while, it became clear the vet tech life was not fitting for her nature. She became friends with the clinic groomer though, and from there, the realization came that she could use her love of dogs and her love of art to help dogs in this way.
Rachel was a student of Paragon School of Pet Grooming and graduated as a Pet Groomer in August 2023. She has taken continuing education courses through Barkleigh in 2024 and has worked under a local mentor from end of 2022 till January 2025.
